No. A generic "someone" doesnt deserve that. One of the activists with an acab attitude who voluntarily went into CHAZ might perhaps deserve it. But there are still lots of pre-existing residents and shop owners whose neighborhood just got taken over by a weird combination of violent guys and idealistic, naive kids larping as revolutionaries. It's bad enough that the mayor and the state government leave them alone with this situation instead of protecting them. But leaving them to literally die just so the libs are taught a lesson, that's just not defensible.

whenever you hear a term like "the mayor has lost control of the cops" just laugh, mayors dont control the cops, it's a facade to give mayors confidence in their position. why would cops trust someone who gets elected with almost no criteria for the job and who in most cases has no experience in the CJ system? especially when they have terms u can wait out just by fake niceness?

I've seen a few youtuber streams playing cry wolf that tent city bums are not happy with being filmed, but nothing beyond petty bum crime.
