I like Sadiq Khan because he's a liberal that hasn't compromised his morals and given in to rampant populism since the party was seized by the far left. He gets constantly misrepresented by racists and anti-muslim bigots, while receiving death threats from other Muslims for sticking up for the rights of gay people. To me it's pretty clear that the labour party needs to be run by economic blairites to succeed, not marxists like John McDonnell that have worked in trade unions and government since they began employment and have np idea how the private sector works.
I grudgingly voted for Corbyn in the election after considering switching my vote to Lib Dem, but ultimately coming to the conclusion that if May crushed the election (which was likely at the time) then the Labour party might be finished as a political force, so I put the party ahead of its leader. Since the election I have become gradually more opposed to Corbyn, even though I agree with his Brexit policy and that we need to ditch austerity in favour of NHS spending and infrastructure investment.
