And you disagree with that?  I have shown that culture and language changes over time, so there is no possible way for a 21st century reader to fully understand the Hebrew idiom "Long Nose of God". It needs to be translated properly to the original meaning of the Word, which is "God is slow to anger".

I totally agree what you said.
Martin Luther was extremely cautious in translating the Bible.

...you keep talking about logic and reason and science . How do you justify this with your belief that you can communicate with the spirits of the dead ?

Well if you agree with me then why are you accusing me of misinterpreting the Bible?

Anyways, if Poulgargr is reading this, I would like him to rejoin the conversation.

...the topic is about trusting the Bible so it's clearly relevant . By claiming you can communicate with the spirits of dead people you are in open defiance of Biblical teaching .

only a proof that there are:

(New International Version)
17 After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James and John the brother of James, and led them up a high mountain by themselves. 2 There he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. 3 Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

I'm going to lunch, then come back to continue the good conversation.

...no , we will not be continuing this conversation . The Transfiguration of Jesus has absolutely nothing to do with your spiritualist beliefs but I will leave you with an appropriate Scripture for your mistaken belief that you can communicate with the dead .

" And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us. "

Widowmaker replies gospel narrative with a line from a parable? Yikes.

...your appeal to the audience reading in is pathetic . You have already been exposed as a fake , a fraud a charlatan , a poser pretending to a title and calling you do not hold . Your understanding of Scripture is less than that of the average atheist on this forum and your argumentum ad populum is a clear sign of desperation .

As expected, when called out for your usage of Scripture (using one line from a parable to oppose gospel narrative) you get all defensive and change the topic. Good sir, is the point of that parable to show the "great chasm"?? or was the intended meaning something else more meaningful??

...I am going to do you a favor and I hope you act on it for your own well being . In my opinion you suffer from what is known as a formal thought disorder and if your therapist has not broached this with you he or she is remiss . Take my advice and bring it up at your next session . Good luck ....I am done with you.....

Your pretty words cannot save you now.

Take my advice, and learn about the Word and sound hermeneutics before you preach it.
