I did not say that the attack in the OP is typical of the transgender community, just unsurprising. What I said is that outlandish and alarming behavior is more common-place in this community than you let on, for the reasons I gave you. Once we have established that the transgender community does, in fact, exhibit disproportionate amounts of mental health issues and alarming behavior, it follows that a disproportionate rate of attackers has to be expected coming out of this demographic as well.

This is blatantly obvious for anyone who lives near a place like "boys town" or has gay friends. Gay men and Lesbian woman are probably less likely then the average person when it comes to committing any crime.
Trans individuals it's simply not the case.
Any encounter I've had with trans people results in them shaming me for no reason even though I am an extremely nice person. Addressing someone as "Sir/Mam" based on their biological appearance results in "I'm a bad person and should feel bad because I didn't use the proper him/her bullshit."
you will never convince me that openly gay men or lesbian woman are the problem. It's trans people. Sorry I base my opinion off lived experience and all my encounters with gay/lesbian individuals were mostly positive and with trans mostly negative. What does that say? I'm sure others could share similar experiences....
