I don't get the hate directed at ISPs. They have a monopoly and remarkably don't really do anything abusive with it. Rates are reasonable, censorship has actually become less prevalent with the fall of the RIAA. They won't even send out spooky warning letters let alone cut you off anymore.
Meanwhile mobile networks have more competition, but charge preposterous extortionate rates, with absurd profit margins. Paying $2.5 million per gigabyte of data on text messages, or $100+ per month for 6 gigabytes of mobile data?
