Brain teasing complicated real life social dynamics, is total BS. It's people not wanting to do what's right or honest or w/e and coming up with a pile of reasons to assuage their morality.

Pffffhahahahahaaaa!!!!

Actually spat out my tea. You owe me a new phone.

/e Same shyt, different day.

so your saying a human cant possibly have multiple motivations?

obviously if u want numbers someone might have (1) 40% motivation and (6) 10% motivations. that doesnt mean the others dont exist, or are excuses. they're secondary or tertiary motivations. but if they add up to a larger percent than the main motivation, in some situations, they would remove enough justification for the main motivation alone to result in action.

Intelligence has nothing what so ever to do with "brain teasing complicated real life social dynamics".

As I said before it's all just bullshit.

It's like a thief, they know what they are doing is wrong, but they say, possibly, it's so my kids can eat. Total BS.
Sure the theft may have been to feed his kids, but getting a job would work too.

so in one post you contradict yourself.

you're literally working out real life situations that confirm my post. just odd....

to add to my post, would the thief steal without kids? maybe.

So his kids should just starve while he's looking for work then?

I mean this is a shit example tbh man but even here there are mitigating factors and shades of grey.

E/ and intelligence has everything to do with why you're incapable of doing it.

People, even kids, don't starve in one day or all of a sudden. I don't care how dim-witted someone may be, they can still employ foresight.
Like having a job...or a vegetable garden, or w/e before they have kids.

There's a zillion legal ways to avoid starving kids. We don't need thievery to be one of them.

Who said I was incapable of nuanced thought or action? It's just noty the right way to be, IMO.
It's what gives us politicians, lawyers, riots, BLM...all BS.

would the thief still steal without kids?

your focus on the thieves employment prospects is a nonsequitor. (likely something you consider "bs")

If I just don't answer your inane question, will you stop asking it? No?

It was an example...it was not a real life occurrence, that I just witnessed. So the question is impossible to answer. <--- See. No nuance.

I realized long ago that you see yourself as the king of nuance. You're good at it.
Just like your question: "Would the thief still steal without kids"?

You post a logically unanswerable question (as the thief was in fact a hypothetical construct), in an attempt to convince other pardians, I assume, that you're actually making a cogent point. Which ofc, you're not.
