i think you're making some damn fucking good points there, but imo it'd still be better if biden won - at least for the rest of the world. let americans suffer for eternity, who really cares? climate change is by far the biggest immediate threat facing humankind, and we're long past the point of no return on multiple core problems related to it, so the best we can do now is try to keep the damage as small as possible - and for that, every month counts.

a biden win would also be entertaining in a way, with all the 'centrist' and 'moderate' establishment shills trying to sell him doing the bidding of his corporate owners as some kind of 'progressive' advance. they really haven't learned a thing from 8 years of obama, lol.
one thing is certain though: what america DESERVES is another four years of trump. never has a president embodied what the rest of the world thinks about a country more accurately than this corrupt, incompetent, jingoistic, obtuse, braggadocious, lazy, fat, bumbling dotard...
Authoritarian, nationalist populism being reaffirmed here in the states could have some serious ramifications for Western democracies in general.
I'm as contemptuous of the American voters as anyone... I don't blame you for feeling the same way. If America re-elects this guy I don't think it's hyperbolic to say our democracy will be in serious danger.
