UNDERBUDGET ABD ABOVE TARGET

This is exactly why Trump is getting trashed when it comes to delegate selection though: he has no infrastructure in place to make sure support translates into delegates. He was very fortunate early in the process to win some of those states with a plurality (SC is the one that sticks out the most) but his luck has really turned now that he has nothing on the ground in these states.

The reports from on the ground in Indiana are brutal. GOP operatives are already talking about the possibility that he gets shut out there or only nabs a few delegates, unless he can overperform in New York and the following week and get late deciders to come his way. That would really screw his path to 1237. He'd have to seriously dominate in California to make up for that.

It really will be a bumpy ride.

...instead of admitting that he went into the primary without knowing the primary rules of the different states Trump is now saying that he knew the rules , he just chooses to ignore them because he wants to change the nominating process . What a hack...

I don't even know what you're referring to. If the other poster is right and it is re: that automatic voter registration bill they passed a while back, then honestly it's probably too dumb to even respond to.

Getting back to the chart, I can't help but wonder what's going to happen to the Republicans if Cruz isn't the nominee. He's the one with all their data, that's why his spending is so "high" and comparable to Clinton. He's got all the infrastructure. Not only does Trump not have hardly anything, he probably has little more than McCain did when he wrapped up his bid at this time. So that means either the RNC will have to step in and foot the bill and run the entire operation with their collective data, or the Koch's will, or Cruz will just have to give up the keys to everything he's built. That might be enough for him to demand that he gets named Trump's VP.

I'm pretty sure his whole run has been improvisation from the start.

i always understood that whoever was the majority leader of your state the " delegate" had to vote for who the people chose. I'm starting to think i was right when i said the votes don't matter when i was a boy

only bound for the first vote

if 1237 isn't hit there will be more votes and from then on they are unbound

votes always matter
