"We got good info and the mission was a massive success" is the go to justification as there isn't a way to prove it

I think there is a difference between a "botched" mission in the sense that a seal was killed and there was civilian casualties

and

a failure to act and help the embassy as they requested weeks in advance. Leading to the death of americans. And then trying to cover this up by saying the attack was the result of a video posted on the internet, when it was not.
