It's not irrelevant, the laws contained just don't apply to us.

Please tell us, I could use a good laugh. :D

Considering it's almost entirely made up of laws that don't apply to you and guidance for the performance of religious rituals you don't partake in I'd say it's almost entirely irrelevant to you. Except maybe as an example of the mercurial morality of God.

Probably either of these two:

1) They actually think they will convert atheists to Christians by posting in Atheist thread on a Diablo 2 trading website. Who knows, maybe this time will work. That is how religions spread, after all.

2) They like being contrarians and inviting conflict from people with different spiritual ideologies.

I disagree. I think they believe they are right and enjoy mocking people they believe are wrong. Atheists in general are just as guilty of that. We're all human after all.

Seems like Christians have an unhealthy obsession with posting scripture in here. I wonder what that says about their psychology.

Atheists leave the Christian Fellowship subforum alone for the most part, to my knowledge.

...you are flat out delusional . Most citations posted in PaRD are from non-believers and atheists leave the CF forum alone because they are not allowed to post there .

Most citations posted in PaRD are from you.

It's mostly for the lulz, but some of the videos I post are serious business, like the last one.

Wrong again. It's important to understand the relationship God had with His people, and Leviticus is one book that shows you that relationship.

For the most part... But that's more because mods hand out warns to anyone they even suspect of atheism that posts there. Which is fair enough imo. It's their space after all. Specifically set up so they can indulge their delusions without them being challenged.

We, as atheists, don't need a space like that. I'm happy to have my beliefs challenged. I'm confident that they are well justified and if there is some flaw in those justifications I'd want to know so I can rethink my position.

Yep, I agree. I don't want a safe space, either.

When my spirituality or beliefs are questioned, I see it as an oppurtunity to critically think and learn something new. Don't see that as much from the other side.

And as far as atheists mocking Christians, oh yeah, you are right about that, too. They definitely do it. I've done it, and I feel bad about it, and I see it all the time, too. I don't think it really helps anyone, but yep, that's the human nature you see on both sides.

Christians follow Christian scripture. Why wouldn't they post scripture when engaging in political and religious discussion?

Then shouldn't you have maybe posted John which has numerous references to the relationship between God and Christians? Instead of leviticus which is basically just a laundry list of rules for Jews?

We get it. Atheists leave the CF alone because they have to according to the forum rules. If it wasn't moderated, then you're definitelty right, we would see a bunch of atheists posting in there all the time.

Christians needs their safe space.

I don't constantly see atheists misrepresenting John, but Leviticus is constantly quoted so I'm encouraging the infidel crowd to get a quick 8 minutes of education.

Plus, that youtube channel is legit, there's a decent amount of summaries available for anyone who is interested.
