It is about visas. A work visa to be exact. They are pretty easy to get for a US citizen.

You are referring to the EU when you claim "26 other countries". That would be like me claiming 49 other countries, assuming I call the states of the US other countries.
In other words...it's just semantics.

Except it's not and there's a world of difference in the relationship EU countries have and states have with the federal government.

You really don't know shit about shit, but you know so little you have no way of figuring that out.

Sure they can, and have. Doesn't mean they will be allowed to leave. :D

/e Well except for California. I'm sure they would be allowed to leave. :D

I cant wait for General Angela Sherman to carve a path across England. Just follow Hadrian's wall.

do you not care about these contradictions or are you legitimately too slow to see them before you post?

The working visas don't seem to be that hard to get, from what I've just been reading. I can even get one from another country, before I leave the US.

I used the word semantics, because it pretty much is. In 50-100 years the EU will be just like the "states" in the US. Right now the folks in the EU have some of the rights that statehood would provide...just none of the other benefits...yet.
I don't think it will be that very long until there is a Untied States of Europe.

visas allowed from a US passport are not like free movement within the EU.

EU will never be like the states, the cultures and languages are too different. I reckon the EU will tighten their grip on the member states now we're leaving, though.
