i'd wager the combination of automation and offshoring killing off sources of income at unprecedented levels and the corporate tax cuts which will be paid for by hacking away at social security, medicare, medicaid will make life worse for the average joe

hell your coal miners are already going through what your manufacturing workers went through aren't they?

i've travelled the world a fair bit and the only place i'd leave canada for is new zealand i think

canada couldnt afford tax cuts of course, you are busy giving millions to terrorists

So theres a fair amount of chatter coming out with two new claims-

  • That the steele dossier was indeed used as justification for the fisa wiretap(s) on the trump campaign in 2016 - supposedly verified by sara carter
  • that Fusion GPS was a subcontractor for the FBI in 2016, and up until April 2016 before they were employed by the Clinton Campaign, they had direct access to FISA databases that required no court approval due to what is called 'about queries', which have since been discontinued - supposedly verified by fisa court documents that confirm the practice existed and was used by subcontractors, but fusion gps being the one is just chatter 'We have been tipped off that one of the FBI contractors in question was, unbelievably, Fusion-GPS.'

The timeline is sending the conspiracy theorists into overdrive (fisa access ended april 18, glenn simpson's wife visits white house april 19, fusion gps hired by clinton campaign via perkins coie in "april 2016". And then all the malarkey about ham radio licenses and strzok.
But if its definitively confirmed that the steele dossier was indeed used for fisa approval as has been long alleged, and then we get this new revelation that Fusion GPS had prior access to FISA databases and was already using wiretaps to spy on people as an FBI subcontractor- having access to prior wiretaps on michael flynn for example- than that turns the dossier approval and wiretapping of the trump campaign into circular intel

I didn't read all the testimony, but I thought Fusion GPS denied being a subcontractor for the FBI?

Was it within a specific timeline? Because that allegation would put them at contracting for the FBI long prior to the Steele Dossier / Perkins Coie / Clinton Campaign, giving them deniability on the election cycle
I figure that if theres any substance to the allegations, it will trickle out in time.

Just scanned the testimony, I couldn't find him being asked about whether he has worked for the FBI at all. He did seem to deny any contact with law enforcement agencies during Fusion's Trump investigation, I don't know if that means April 16 on or Sept 15 on.

I wouldnt take it as a credible report anyway when the best source for the fusion gps connection is "someone tipped off someone". For every 1 chatter with this buzz around it that pans out theres 9 that were bullshit

A lawyer for President Trump reportedly arranged a six-figure payment to a former adult-film star to keep her from discussing a sexual encounter with Trump, according to a new report Friday.

The Wall Street Journal reported that Michael Cohen, an attorney for the Trump Organization at the time and now Trump’s personal lawyer, arranged for Stephanie Clifford, known in the industry as Stormy Daniels, to receive $130,000 as part of a nondisclosure agreement one month before the 2016 election.

Clifford has privately alleged to sources interviewed by the Journal that she and Trump had a consensual sexual encounter in 2006, the year after he and Melania Trump were married. Clifford was 27 years old at the time of the alleged encounter in Lake Tahoe.

A White House official declined to comment to the Wall Street Journal about the payment, but said that the allegations of the interaction between Trump and Clifford were “old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election.”

Cohen told the Wall Street Journal in a statement that Trump “once again vehemently denies” the encounter, but did not comment on the alleged $130,00 payment.
