i'd wager the combination of automation and offshoring killing off sources of income at unprecedented levels and the corporate tax cuts which will be paid for by hacking away at social security, medicare, medicaid will make life worse for the average joe

No I don't have one for how things would get better as I thought at the time we were only talking about that specific case of salary vs bonus. At a macro level I worry for the blue collar worker and agree that outsourcing and automation is going to largely impact the lower uneducated population in a negative manner.

However here's food for thought, how will the government respond in the long run to combat this. Will higher education become free resulting in a more educated workforce will we drop to 4 work days per week on average while maintaining a satisfactory pay to meet needs. I honestly don't know.

And to close out the day of ridiculousness, he cancelled his London trip.

Never you mind that Bush had the embassy moved post 9/11 due to security concerns. Also noting that the building was under the English Heritage law and couldn't be renovated for security reasons and which also had an effect on the property's resale value.(they also managed to get about 100 million more pounds than it's estimated value was) Never you mind that people had planned protests for his arrival. It's all Obama's fault despite having nothing to do with it.
