This doesn't bode well tbh.

Corporate debt might become the next bubble. According to the IMF ( https://www.imf.org/~/media/Files/Publications/GFSR/2017/April/chapter-1/CH1.ashx ), corporations are now paying 40% of their operational income as interest expense, which seems rather high, especially with the astronomically low interest rates atm.

I also agree with a good chunk of that.

I said pretty early in the Trump presidency that if we had to have a Republican, Trump might be the best option because he's so incompetent at politics that he can't get his party to do much of anything.

Tax "reform" (read: fucking over the little guy for the donors) should have been the easiest thing for Republicans to pass, but they struggled to even get a majority in each individual chamber.
