I think this is a new low for American politics. I’m still fairly young but I don’t think I’ve ever seen such baseless & disgusting methods of getting your way. Maybe in some future generation democrats will be better but right now I don’t see myself voting for them ever again.

You voted a reality tv star who tweets like a 13 year old school girl to the highest office of the land and this event is a new low for american politics?

Let's say I do. Since both political parties have done things wrong, I guess that means that any associated with either party should be taken down, right?

If so, I'm all for it. Let the revolution begin.

Sounds good to me, i'm an independent so i'm not attached to either sinking ship.

That is pretty much my stance. I dont' like either party. Both have their downside, neither platform conforms to any sort of tolerance or even truth tbh. At least being conservative keeps our country healthy even if it doesn't advance our culture.

Paula Jones and Monica Lewinsky were a bigger shitshow.

2016 with the parade of “Trump raped me” was pretty bad too. Just saying that these techniques are really disgusting. Caining is nothing compared to this. A public figure accused of rape nowadays is absolute hell. I can just imagine what his family and kids are going through-what they’ll go through still.

Voted D in 2008, voted R in 2012, voted Ind. in 2016 but now all I want to do is be opposed to the party that pushes this type of garbage.

That would be both parties. This shit is staged political theatre.

It's disappointing to see how things have become more polarized over time.

Sure, the Bush/Gore election was somewhat contentious (mostly over the Florida recount). Obama/McCain was way worse. Hilary/Trump blew that out of the water. I shudder when I realize that things are only going to get worse from here.

The dystopian political future depicted in Idiocracy was to take place 500 years in the future. Sadly, I think we are only 2 or 3 election cycles from a President Dwayne Elizondo Mountain Dew Herbert Camacho. The Kavanaugh story is just another step towards the future where the balance of government power will be decided by things as silly as the high school rumor mill.

Add 10 years to John Titor's timeline.

Do it.

Read all of this.

Think about it this way:

You have an entire political machine setting their sights on either digging up, or fabricating, dirt on one guy. Nothing is out of bounds here. Yet will all those resources and no restrictions, this is the best they can come up with? A whisper that he may have done something in high school that isn't even that bad by today's cultural standards. And by the standards of the time it happened, there wasn't even the slightest thing wrong with it. An overclothes grope by kids at a party? Give me a break. What's next, is the next candidate going to be accused of watching an R-rated movie when he was only 15? And the candidate after that is going to be accused of kicking his mother too hard while he was in the womb?

If this is all they can "find", then I gotta think that this dude must be a fucking saint. The Democrats have publicly vetted him for office better than any background check from any security firm could ever hope to.

I think you meant to say Dwayne The Rock Johnson.
