Atheists are disproportionately wealthier and better educated than their religious counterparts. Lots of confounding variables here.
A religious person who is just as wealthy and educated as the average atheist probably has a similar IQ.
So it's probably not as much of a correlation of IQ with religious/not religious as it is with wealth and education, but I'd argue there is at least some correlation there. It's probably not a lot, but it is there.
