forcing other people to pay for your ID isnt the 'only' libertarian position by any stretch of the imagination.
you are clueless about libertarianism independent of your position here.

are you trolling? or just too stuck staring at my rod to pick up on context. here let me help you, again, understand subtext by spelling it out for you like a child:

the only (logical) libertarian stance (in support of) voter id laws is that ids must be 100% free(for all citizens universally, and not created via magic that requires no money) with little to no barriers to obtaining them (within reason). anything else is statist shillery (not a dig at you, but its nice to see you dance out of habit).

any questions?

Libertarians are hypocritical anarchists. They pretend to hate the state, but want it to protect them because they're afraid of real freedom and are focused on Rights, which are derived from the state and social contract itself.

Heres the 2 differents covers from "the smurfs" (belgium)

- The one at left was published in france (and probably whole europe) as is. ("the black smurfs") (1963)
- The one published in USA, at right, (finally decades later...) was different (2010)

The idea that there might be multiple libertarian positions on a topic, or that the government providing something for 'free' might not be the only libertarian position isnt overly complicated or unknowable.

anarcho-capitalism is a form of libertarianism.

ahhh i now understand your position. you believe that forcing someone to "pay for ids for all" (read: muh taxes) is so egregious of a crime that instead we should create a system in which people are force to pay if and when they'd like to have rights.

i find it pretty funny that rather than shifting the accounting to make a few less bombs you'd change the way the right to vote works, in the process giving the state absolute power over those who wont pay for representation.

if this isnt your stance, and you're just fence sitting for kicks, even more funny.
