you don't have to attribute inherent "malice" (and i don't think anyone's actually doing that, bit of a strawman, eh?) to realise it's objectively a detrimental approach for the majority of americans and the economy as a whole...
'Conservative economics' wildly benefit the masses if we are talking about implementing free market policies and not whatever bipartisan trash gets passed by authoritarians in congress and bad policy effects you want to pass off on conservatives.
'The last couple decades' of economic policy is far from what you will read being advocated in there.
