It's like you telling me you can't read without telling me. Circar logic do you know what that is?
Familiarise yourself with basic logic before proceeding to quote me things.
I trust the bible just as much I trust Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. In fact more so because she is real and an actual person that exists. Author of the bible no one ever met today and many of the authors are completely unknown.
The content of Harry Potter is a fairytale because none of those things can be proven to exist they were made up.
Is it possible that some events and people were based on real life? Sure is spiderman real no, is it true someone can be bit by a spider and shoot webs from their hands not a chance, is New York a real place where spiderman is from? yes it is. Can the bible talk about some historical battle or a real place that exist yes. Does that mean jesus resurrected after dying on the cross and that a talking snake convinced 2 adults to eat magical fruit, have to call bullshit.
Let me know if you are still confused.
I don't know what "Circar logic" is, no.
J.K. Rowling is a real person and people have met her. However in 100 years nobody alive will have met J.K. Rowling. Based on that logic your bringing absolutely nothing written in history is worth any trust. Based on this I can tell that you are not interested in History.
Let me ask you this question: How many people alive today were present for World War One? In maybe 50? 60? Years nobody alive will have met anyone who was present for World War One. Based on your logic everything loses its credibility with time.
The authors of the Bible are completely unknown? To you, yes. To me, I can read the opening of the Gospel of Luke and know exactly who wrote Luke's Gospel.
Here's something for you to think about:
Isaiah 40:6-8
6 A voice says, “Cry out.”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
“All people are like grass,
and all their faithfulness is like the flowers of the field.
7 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
because the breath of the Lord blows on them.
Surely the people are grass.
8 The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.”
