The "resisters" aren't the ones expecting him to behave a certain way, the "resisters" are bracing for the worst (RvW overturned, more dark/foreign $ in politics, presidential protection/self pardons, healthcare defunding). What am I supposed to say, am I supposed to lie and say "I hope Dr. Ford is lying" in that she wasn't sexually assaulted? I'm hoping she's telling the truth because it's going to look bad for everyone (especially herself and feinstein/democrats) if she's lying. So sue me?? just because I hope and support people tell the truth doesn't mean I'm rooting for someone to be sexually assaulted, this logic is stupid, because the alleged sexual assault already occurred, me "rooting" for something implies I'm hoping for that outcome in future, I'm not. To what extent is the audience complicit in the manufacturing of the "story" of these allegations? Is the MSM just feeding people the story that sells? Has CNN/Fox become MTV, just selling people juicy stories?

Unprovable allegations of overclothes groping in high school have about as much substance as an episode of Jersey Shore. How did "news" go from discussing relevant political policy to gossiping about high school rumors?

Its pretty amazing that we're over a week into this insanity, we're up to 3 or 4 "accusers", the accusations have escalated all the way up to gang rape, and not a single shred of corroborated / verifiable evidence has been produced against Kavanaugh. Not even a corroborated witness testimony from any purported event. There was unironically more evidence presented at the Salem Witch Trials against the accused than we have against Kavanaugh right now. I mean for fuck's sake, when the girls said they saw Goody Proctor with the devil, they backed up each other's accounts.

So, all the MeToos within hollywood (Liberal's back yard) were just like intersquad scrimmages? Now that they've perfected their gameplan of toppling a person's career purely on rumors, they can unveil it in a real game (supreme court appointments)?
