I just said you could impose harsh sentences. You were talking about practical realities...how is it practical to charge possibly hundreds of thousands of women with murder when the majority don't believe that it is?
First, remove incentives to have abortions. Then the public will be far less approving of abortions when it's being done on the sly for lifestyle reasons and then let the courts deal with it.
Harsh sentences happen only after murder occurred. I'm talking about the prevention of murder.
Do you agree that if I had explicit intention to murder another adult, law enforcement would justifiably intervene up to the point of physically restraining me to prevent said murder from happening? Or, do you think law enforcement would simply wait until I have murdered someone to then act and utilize "harsh sentences"?
