Except I never said they have to disclose it right away. I was just pointing out that you were pretty much saying that it's entirely the tranny's decision on the timing (if at all) for disclosure.
So what? We should pass a law saying "if you date somebody you have to disclose you are trans within a month"?
What are you even suggesting? lol. It's always your decision when to disclose something.

I wouldn't go that far to say it is a disease, but definitely a genetic anomaly if I want to put it in a better way.
And yes, it is some sort of a mental illness, but then again mental illness is quite common nowadays especially in first world countries, just how extreme your mental condition is.
I would wish them godspeed in whatever way they try to deal with it. Just do not make it seem like it is natural to normal to everyone else or at least the majority of mankind.
If you can hold a job, have working relationships, and it doesn't negatively impact your ability to live your life, you do not have a disease. Period. That's how we define diseases actually.

Gender dysphoria is a disease of the mind.
Also, you know what the prefix "dys-" stands for in medicine, right?
Gender dysphoria is mostly a disease caused by environment. If you are surrounded by people who don't treat you like shit for being trans you don't tend to develop gender dysphoria.
