My daughter's school just includes trans kids and she plays with them like normal, and she still participates in things with them today and I'm glad she is having this experience instead of a sheltered one or insulated one. I do not think she is going to play professional basketball so it is not very consequential.

And if a woman is talented enough to go professional then getting dunked on by a trans person won't stop that from happening so that's an easily dismissable argument.

Again you're not looking through the eyes of the competitor and you're looking through your own eyes. A talented woman likely does not want a dude dunking on her when shes competing in a woman's league. Sure you can use your anecdotal daughter evidence but id be willing to be if polled competitive females don't want Timmy in the league.

You're the polar opposite of the competitive parents. I don't think either end of the spectrum are good.

Yes correct I am looking at this through the eyes of a program planner and evaluator and not the eyes of a 16 year old teenager. My point of view now is superior than it was then. I look at a sports program and think about what is it supposed to accomplish, How does it turn our boys and girls in 2 better men and women, better citizens. All youth sports are in the scope of public education and should be serving that goal. These are paid for by taxes which are paid by the families of trans athletes.

My assumption would be to include everybody.

I don't see a solution where group X doesn't get to play as a real solution. It isn't just because you say it is. I just disagree.

You can't say I disagree because I'm a loser I don't care.

Sure with rec leagues that's fine it provides a place for everyone. Problem solved.

I used to play them on top of competitive sports just to get some fun times after school playing with opposite sex friends. Great time but not the same as the other team sports. I needed and wanted both though.

My taxes do not pay for those. They are not in the scope of public education either.

So problem definitely not solved.

Maybe not in America but they certainly are here in Canada. Maybe you should look at the implementation of rec leagues.

You barely have professional sports in Canada lol.

Now I'm just being a dick tho.

Seems like recreation leagues would be a good asset where people do not want gender diversity in high school sports.

I am still interested in how you guys plan to enforce this.

I thought we were talking about high school. Just because we have a lower population and thus far less major league sports does not mean youth don't aspire.

I mean rec leagues are in nearly every school. Usually 3-5 and then 6-9 or something. Its so parents can keep their kids busy while they work. They're awesome and everyone plays round-robin style or whatever depending on whats going that day. That's just being a Canadian kid.

I don't know how its enforced. I just have an opinion just like i have an asshole. My opinion obviously conflicts yours, how its enforced at a high school level I don't know.
