Hundreds of millions of gifts in foreign aid as well as other pork while the pleb gets 600 dollars. No wonder the swamp wanted him out at all costs. Hard to see Biden voicing such qualms considering he's been part of this type of horse-trading for decades.
In this case, we'll have to agree to disagree. Trump's "refusal to sign" the bill is meaningless. It passed with a veto-proof majority. It's done.
Meaning all the extra for a $2000 stimulus (or any compromised amount on top of the guaranteed $600 in the bill) will be added to the budget. So if even 100 million payments of $2000 are sent out, that'll add up to an extra $200 billion added to the top of what's already in the relief/appropriations package that was passed.
We're talking about spending more, not switching who it's going to.
