My question to you is how do you find these hidden gems that don’t have standardized degrees but can still aid in policy making. If you make the claim that individuals without degrees should be involved in policy making, in the name of science per your words, how do you create such a system
Tldr: I don’t think ur point really has merit unless you have a system in place to allow for reasonable non credential voices to rise the ranks. Otherwise it’s all just noise. And my point I struggle to see how a system can be created without standardization
