There are Karen’s on both sides of the aisle, that’s for sure. However I’m specifically alluding to political meltdowns in the form of literal screeching, haha. I only see one side doing that. Both sides do it [meltdown] though. If Trump wins, we’ll have more videos of purple-haired Zi’s screeching, saying America is screwed, we need to resist. if Biden wins we’ll have videos of guys on the right saying America is screwed, we need to buy ammo.

dude i Biden wins you'll 100% have right winged karens crying on facebook live about how the devil is responsible and communism is here and illegals will rape her grandbabies, etc. and anti mask meltdown karens are political, ive seen plenty whine about their governors orders.

What a load of dishonest spin.

McConnell let a $3 trillion bill sit on his desk which included a laundry list of Democratic wishes, many of them unrelated to actual coronavirus relief. When the Senate GOP brought up their own version a coronavirus relief bill, which still had a price tag north of $1 trillion and was more narrowly focused, the Democrats voted it down, arguing that no bill was better for Americans than the GOP bill.

Also note that a coronavirus bill is difficult because it contains a myriad of actual policies, of tradeoffs and priority-setting. By contrast, a judicial nomination is "easy" for the Senate: it is the president who has to come up with a nominee, and there is no policy involved in the confirmation hearings. They dont have to write a thousand page mammoth bill or anything like that. All they have to do is decide whether the nominee is qualified and suited to serve on the Supreme Court.

oh believe me, i know all about the bad joke of a special interest tailored, and disgustingly inappropriate 'narrowly focused' gop corona bill, but your typical spin attempts won't hide the FACT that mcconnell is the king of delaying / ignoring / blocking proposals that would benefit the working class, that he is a driving force behind america's decline into an oligarchy, who has repeatedly perpetuated the 'this is not the time to talk about x' argument, hiding behind the death of people to ignore crucial legislation, who immediately jumped onto this in order to steal yet another supreme court seat, while RBG's corpse was still warm.

obviously i fully expect people like yourself to try and spin that in the most generous way possible, it's just what cultists do, but his level of hypocrisy, double-standards, and corrupting politics aren't lost on critically thinking people, so you might as well stop your silly rationalisations, the only ones who'd try to justify that are those already in your death cult...

Planning to appoint a supreme court justice when a spot opens up is 'stealing'
Shutting down terrible and incredibly expensive garbage bills is "blocking proposals that would benefit the working class"
Refusing to use a shooting as justification to trample on people's rights is "hiding behind the death of people to ignore crucial legislation"

what dishonest spin from the freedom-hating Nazi descendent

lol

If you don't like the outcomes of fair rules then just change them. Fuck trying to keep the Supreme court separate from politics if it hasn't worked for our team in recent history.

Democrats prepare bill limiting U.S. Supreme Court justice terms to 18 years

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Democrats in of the House of Representatives will introduce a bill next week to limit the tenure of U.S. Supreme Court justices to 18 years from current lifetime appointments, in a bid to reduce partisan warring over vacancies and preserve the court’s legitimacy.

The new bill, seen by Reuters, would allow every president to nominate two justices per four-year term and comes amid heightened political tensions as Republican President Donald Trump prepares to announce his third pick for the Supreme Court after the death on Sept. 18 of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with just 40 days to go until the Nov. 3 election.
