They hated me 1st. I was 9 or ten at a bait shop, feeding a huge work horse sugar cubes. The horse looked me in the eye...looked down at my foot ...then stomped my foot six inches into the soft ground.

Other animals seem to like me...just not horses. Maybe they could tell that I didn't like vehicles that have minds of their own.

As someone who's interacted with horses of all kinds, I can pretty easily see why/how it could happen. They can be quite ornery.

I'd never recommend anyone come in contact with a stallion without some pretty extensive knowledge of their behaviour. You don't want to have to deal with a corpse.

The owner of the bait shop was like here...give him a few sugar cubes. I was young and foolish, so I did.

Horse looked like a damn Clydesdale.

I've never had issues with horses. Sure some are ornery but they're animals with personalities. What do you expect.

I expected that they liked sugar cubes. :/


Hell, I've had cats and large dogs, let me relocate dislocated shoulders. Most animals ...like me.


/e I had a 120 pound Shepherd/husky mix let me carry him and he had shattered hips.

You just met a horse on a bad day lol. It's astounding how easy it is to tilt a horse. Flies, a loud noise, pisses them off the whole day. And I've probably had my fingers bitten a lot, used to feed horses peppermint mints.

That was pretty irresponsible of that man. He can't expect kids to recognize the body language of a horse especially if he's just excited to interact with one.

Yeah ok, I only met one horse in my entire life.
They all don't like me.

Trust me on this.




Easy folks...this is not the only incident..horses don't like me. Deal with it.

Can't help you there mate. I've never met a horse who didn't like me. Ex GF used to work as a trainer for dressage horses
