Any fundamental religion is extreme because they were formed around very different mores and folkways.

I heard that the guy didn't get fired for being a homophobe or anti-Semite. Well not shocking. Homophobia and antisemitism is pretty common in the US still. I imagine if every racist or bigot was fired from their job we would have massive unemployment.

Cartoons make Hitler and Holocaust jokes on television. The literal humanness of homosexuals are often debated in some circles, with people likening them to animals all the time. They say letting gays get married to each other will lead to dog-marriage.

People are pissed off that he wasn't fired, because some coworker said that he believes it was because the guy was a Muslim. Well if employers just started firing people en masse because they weren't respectful of gays or because they weren't respectful for homosexuals the cries from this forum would be heard across the United States, as over half of PaRD here was handed pink slips.

I hear you.

Did you guys hear about one of the patrons purposely blocking a door? Has that been talked about? Saw it mentioned in GC.
(I didnt quite read through all of the pard threads on the topic)

He was holding the door closed from the gunman peeling out into the alley he and about 20 other people were some what stuck in. There was a fence blocking them from leaving the alley in a timely manner, so instead of letting a swarm of people and possibly the shooter as well flood into the alley while they're trying to squeeze out of a hole in a fence, he held the door closed and hoped that he was effectively saving more people than he was endangering. He claimed to have heard banging on the door, but mentally put himself in the mindset of "surely it must be the shooter banging on the door since his gunfire was so close to it". Guy was live in an interview on skype with Megan Kelly when it seemed to have dawned on him how fucked up what he did was. Chances of the guy going outside were pretty low considering there were still targets inside as well as chances of being stopped by police outside were much more likely. He said he only held it for like 10-15 seconds total.

Don't bother lol

Why not? It shows what happens with gun bans. Law abiding citizens don't carry them, and criminals don't care. More guns, less crime. It's not just a book title, it's a fact.

I don't think that's the only conclusion available to that argument.

Are you sure? Because A leftist propaganda funnyman told me no one should own a semi-automatic assault rifle.

Looks more like it's self-loathing closet cases that are the problem, but it's cool. Wouldn't expect you to get one right all of a sudden and throw off a perfect record. :(
