Where that cheap ?

Learn how to budget properly, anyone with a brain and an ability to set limits can live on $500 (or less) in America.

Not so sure living on $500 a month is a particularly easy thing to do, most rentals alone will cost over $500.

I mean sure it's possible if you do stuff like buy 50 pound bags of rice and eat nothing but that for a month, but not sure I'd call that living.

In general I agree with the fact that it isn't hard to get a job and that if people are unemployed they should fucking suck it up and take a job. That job isn't fucking "below" you. If you're unemployed and living off other people who don't want to be paying for you then you're pretty much at the bottom already.

tbh when i see AA walmart employees with the newest samsung phone stocking shelves so slowly, then i wonder ....

honestly dont even need an apt or home to live in... live in a car....

Umm where do you live? Because in every area I've ever lived, finding anywhere with rent lower than 500 was a miracle. Even if you could find that, you'd have no money for food, gas, and other necessities.

Working minimum wage 40 hours per week after taxes is right at $1000 a month. You can live on that. In your off time go to a public library, get a careerbuilder account and apply like crazy. You'll get better offers.

If you have no college or trade skill, get a job as a server and you'll make an average of $350-600 a week depending on the restaurant. Tha average entry level manager at a chain restaurant is $28,000 a year and that's livable and is typically achieved in under 2 years if you truly dedicate yourself to it.

Life isn't that hard. Above are easy examples to get by. Obviously a lot of us here have college degrees and experience that can take us much further. And if you don't, you can always be an entrepreneur.

People are just too nervous to take the jump to new opportunities and too lazy to spend their free time researching job markets and growing career fields and learning how they can fit into that

i doubt it would be difficult to sleep in a walmart parking lot every night

I live in SoCal, one of the cheapest places in the nation, illegal aliens live on much less a week.

Don't know why some rich white boy is whining about living on more than they need to survive.

Yeah let's risk getting arrested every night .... lol
