More flat out denial of reality. The reason why "receptive anal sex" (talk about Orwellian language), buggery, is orders of magnitude higher than anything else is because buggery is a violent, depraved, unholy act which rips open wounds in the anus & rectum. These open wounds/lesions are direct open channels for the virus to enter right into the bloodstream. Oh wow! Actual science! Let's also talk about how these viruses are cultured in the first place - the anal area is NOT sterile, it's where you shit from, and nature makes it very clear that you're not supposed to eat your own shit, stick your finger up your ass and lick it, because you'll get sick. From the bacteria & viruses. Now nature also makes it clear that you aren't supposed to bugger people or let them bugger you because a similar thing happens. You willingly culture and imbibe the virus. It's God's natural mechanism for wiping out unholy people. Without being propped up by modern medicine, the problem solves itself on it's own - they all die. Religious law prohibiting this depraved act is rooted in reality & the spread of disease - the same reason for why pork is still forbidden in many faiths (pig meat was very often laden with worms and would make people sick, the same as if people eat wild hog meat)

You seem incapable of quantitative thinking. I literally showed you data suggesting that the risk of anal sex is 18 times higher vaginal sex when it comes to contracting the worst STD. A similar tendency will also show up for all other STDs, because the rectum is inherently less sterile and has more vulnerable tissue which tears more easily.

So while all unprotected sex carries a certain, non-zero risk of spreading disease, which hole you put it matters a great lot for the magnitude of this risk. Doesn't mean that anal sex is a "violent, depraved, unholy" act or any of this drivel, but you can't escape physiology here.



Very true. There are plenty of "normal" gays who engage in serial monogamy like their straight peers, but hyperpromiscuity is significantly more prevalent in the gay community.

this imo is conventional wisdom that may not be accurate in modern times during the post-Tinder era. promiscuity seems to have taken a serious uptick in the straight community as online dating shifted to hook up culture. id love to see someone do an updated study.

Fair point. I would also love to see reliable data on the gender split on tinder or other modern online dating/hookup apps. My guess would be that matches are far more widely distributed among the female side while they're very concentrated on a few top-tier guys on the male side.
