I have a bridge to sell you if you think this is going to lead to politicians being held accountable for their crimes.

Politicians commit heinous crimes all the time and are rarely prosecuted. This is a special politically motivated prosecution for a victimless noncrime.

You are saying you want them to break laws and make a mockery of the Justice system to convict a politician you dont like. This isnt about upholding the law.

Everything, only real trail would be financial, witnesses, and beyond a reasonable doubt assumptions. Theres a reason they used this now instead of in a bid to impeach him when it originally was rumored.

Just so happens fraud was discovered by the opposing party as well, and trial happened in the tear leading up to election? Apparently people don’t think the irs would audit stuff for billionaires. Lenders also do audits and are legally obligated to report fraud. Its all nothing.

I don't think the evangelical vote is really his concern. Evangelicals are more concerned with bringing back Jim Crow and stoning gays than any kind of adultery. Most evangelicals just accept adultery as a thing men do sometimes, and a thing people in power are expected to do.

I think the better explanation is that he just knows it makes him look bad, and so he will deny it forever. He's very concerned with general appearances and class, and banging a porn star isn't something that makes him seem high class.
