The vast majority of pro-abortion are, its not you, you don't get to say or control women like you want to, so fuck off. Sure you can cherry pick responses or arguments that are solely around health, but the vast majority of pro-abortion people have made it quite clear that its not someone else that gets to dictate.

I wish the antiabortion side could just be honest and say they want to turn back the clock and control women again, revoke their right to vote and label every woman that has had sex pre-marriage a whore.

The argument of independence and what not would be valid if not within the same breadth the pro-abortion camp demands all these medical procedures be covered through taxation of large swaths of people that don't agree with it. Forcing catholic hospitals to perform them, forcing religious people to administer or be part of them. Best case is to let states decide and people of like mindedness can chose which laws they want, which is the truest form of individual rights rather unhinged screeching about controlling bodies because some of us value life over hedonism.

The most anti-abortion countries tend to be ones that are also the most religious. But whatever. We in the west are so educated that we reached a point in our history where we educated our way out of reproducing, with plummeting replacement rates, with only way to actually get more workers or taxpayers is by importing millions, or face unmatched liabilities that turn economies on their heads.
