which "high horse"? you're taking this a little too personal. i hope they are successful, and thermal imaging certainly INCREASES the chance of catching him, all i'm saying it's not of much use if you don't have any OTHER clues that tell you WHERE to look. i'm just saying technology alone isn't the counter to hiding in the woods that you seem to think it is. the main reason, avoiding other people from identifying you is still very much valid if the area that you can hide in is just big enough. also, caves do exist.
