The Nazis in Ukraine are by contrast actual Nazis. Serving a state power, an offshoot of a historical SS branch. They aren't some fringe nutcases as likely to become trannies as terrorists- they are a mainstream political group that won elections.

The moment that the Azov regiment & other neo-nazi paramilitaries were incorporated legally into the Ukrainian armed forces, Russia had a legitimate casus belli to topple the regime and bring them to justice.

Neo nazis at this point are just gangs, they largely do not care about nazi ideology, just profit.
