400km is a decent range, but the issue is the charge up time: if you want to drive for more than those 400km in one day, you'll have to take a 1 or 2 hour stop while your car recharges. this is still a significant limitation.

sounds well-suited for european winters. or north american ones.
this might be ok for californians or portuguese. not so much for new york, minnesota; or germany.
