400km is far from enough in europe, in the end-ass rural areas.
i dont understand why you ask 2000 km, sounds ridiculous.

And colder climates. range drops to under 100km in below zero.

400km is a decent range, but the issue is the charge up time: if you want to drive for more than those 400km in one day, you'll have to take a 1 or 2 hour stop while your car recharges. this is still a significant limitation.

sounds well-suited for european winters. or north american ones.

this might be ok for californians or portuguese. not so much for new york, minnesota; or germany.

it's fine for more than 90% of people imo, and breaks are required after like 2 hours of non-stop driving anyway :)
