I didn't know the actual time. I just assumed it was early because he was going to school.

Still, I have trouble with the kids story. I don't believe a 14 year old kid doesn't know the way to his school. Especially considering jhow many times he's gone to school.
I also don't believe that any 14 year old kid would go to all that trouble to GET to school if he overslept.

If he was that desperate to get to school, I would think he would ask a neighbor. I mean, he's gonna miss how much school by walking....anyways.

I don't think the homeowner was right to shoot at the kid. I don't think I've ever said he was. I just think the kids story is BS.

The fact that he had to take a bus implies it was a long way to his school, some people have trouble with directions, just admit you are a racist and be done with it.

Too many things don't add up.
Kids late for school but lives in a well to do neighborhood. What, no alarm clock?
Kid has a cell phone but lost it or left it at home or some other BS.
Then kid decides to rush off to school, cause he's late...by walking, instead of asking a neighbor for a ride.

I can just see my parents if I ever tried a line of BS like that, on them.
In 4 years of high school, I missed three days.

Maybe the problems with the world today, are because adults believe this kind of bullshit.
