The main difference between Starbucks in the EU and Heineken in Africa, is that Heineken could significantly increase GDP in some African countries, Starbucks cannot. If we're talking about increasing standards of life in 3rd and 2nd world coutries. this is it.

it would be a complex for a racist, who thinks people are superior due to skin colour
i totally believe we are superior to africans, however not because of black vs white, but because of (tough to name it really) mentality, attitude, you name it (what fender refuses to understand in his universe)
look at adopted africans for example, that were socialised in caring european families, they will just be as decent as anyone in our society
however the majority socialised over there is just a failure

my favorite comparison is south korea, just look how they turned things around, their human development index in the 50s was at the level of the shittiest african countries, 1980 they were on the level of todays tajikistan and now they are among the most modern nations on the planet
why? because its people have worked their asses off and still do, what has africa done in that time?

good point on the heineken example, the damage for them is much more worse than it is for us
i wouldnt call it flawed though, starbucks gets away with some tax dodging, but its not even close to what they do over there

if you meant by "trumps direction" his lower taxes policy, i support it in general as long as it remains reasonable (which it probaly wont), and protectionism, which isnt good news for the 3rd world

yep, just don't. he's one of those ppl who call africans, immigrants and foreigners "scum" / "subhumans" / "savages" / "monkeys" and when challenged for it pretend it's not racist but a "reasonable" statement. they justify these generalisations and simplistic world views by focusing on crimes committed by foreigners and act like this is somehow representative of "the others". they jerk off to it with their fellow simple-minded bigots in the racist echo chambers they built themselves online, where they can cowardly hide behind the anonymity of the internet.

again, there is no reasoning with such ppl, they will defend the most blatant and obvious racism with anecdotal evidence, ridiculous misrepresentations, and generalisations. they are immune to arguments and facts. i have to admit it's really hard for me to accept because i WANT to believe that somewhere deep down, behind all that hate and bigotry, there HAS to be some decency and intelligence, but you guys helped me realise it's a lost cause. at least online, there is no way to convince such people so i won't try anymore. mock them for it? sure, but your arguments are just wasted, it's like talking to a wall made out of hate...
