I feel like I drop 15 pounds when I stop drinking soda while my wife does an hour of cardio, hour of weights, and barely eats 1k calories a day and gets a lot less in terms of gains.
Maybe that guy lost 30 pounds. Personally my weight fluxuates quite a lot and I hate it. It recently found out I had some weird stuff going on that has ramifications for weight and mood. Taking some vitamin d supplements really helped, something about having too much calcium in my blood due to the Sun not activating the part of the body that produces vitamin d...or something like that. It is related to thyroid function. You get to 40 years old and You have to worry about things like thyroid function and getting enough fiber.
But you have to agree that those comparisons are disingenuous. And people always get mad at you when you seriously improve yourself and try tear you down. People are afraid to own up to their envy.
