first of all, the US accounts for 25% of the worldwide CO2 emissions.
second, the entire paris climate agreement is a joke because huge countries like china and india, which account for another 25% of worldwide emissions, are treated like developing countries in the treaty. this means that they dont have to pay more for CO2 reductions and climate protection, they are paid by the industrial countries. same goes for most of africa, SE asia and parts of latin america. therefore, the fact that those countries signed the paris agreement is neither surprising nor is it an actual sign of those countries committing their resources to climate protection.

the paris climate agreement is a modern form of a sale of indulgences. the rich countries pay the poor countries to relieve their guilty conscience. it is far from being the most effective way of organizing the global community in its fight against global warming, and it is actually harmful because it masks the small commitment of most countries to climate protection.

The operating restrictions affect one quarter of China’s total steel-making capacity and approximately 10% of cement production.
Actually their governement is strong enough to do it, and they will probably do it because they just want to demote USA.
- how about the co2 that has already been emitted (in the 70's etc) ?
- and who is deliberately going for coal...

is the paris agreement perfect? certainly not, but apparently you don't have the slightest idea how difficult it is to get all nations to agree to at least take action in that matter.

and what you're completely ignoring, while trying to discredit the agreement in order to make excuses for your cult leader, is that he isn't the slightest bit interested in "more effective ways" of protecting the climate. he thinks man made climate change is a chinese hoax and wants to refocus on fossil fuels (for his business partners)...

greenpeace and ecowatch, surely a totally neutral and nonpartisan source on this matter.

oh, I very well do realize how difficult it is to get all nations to work together on such an issue. but thats the point: obama and the european leaders wanted to achieve an international climate agreement at all costs. they wanted to look like they were taking action. therefore, they crafted this travesty of a compromise, this eyewash in which they bought the participation of the third world countries and of the emerging giants china and india.

the sad truth is that there is global agreement on climate change being an issue, but no global agreement on concrete actions and sacrifices that should be taken for climate protection. to not lose their face, obama, merkel et al put in place the paris climate agreement and thereby set a bad example which steers global efforts for climate protection in an ineffective direction.

trump not being interested in effective climate protection either is obvious. nonetheless, by withdrawing from the paris agreement, he has done the right thing for the wrong reasons.

these climate agreements are purely ideology driven and have nothing to do with reality

the german ministry of the environment had to admit recently that we are not even close to our goals for the year 2020  (reducing emissions by 40% in 2020 compared to 1990 for those who dont know)
interesting fact: that a large portion of the reduction of CO2 emissions compared to 1990 comes from the massive deindustrialization of the former eastern german state after the unification of germany
i can try to find the article if you are interested ^^

not to mention that we are spending hundreds of billions for ineffective energy, merkels retarded decision against nuclear power, electromobility bullshit, etc etc, its too much to list it all here

Why would the US enter into an agreement that is clearly of no benefit to the country. It has nothing to do with cultist leaders and your obsession with Trump, but simply a bad agreement. It doesn't matter if other countries were in agreement... why wouldn't they be? The US was compensating for the majority of this agreement with little to no return. US doesn't need to bear the burden for other countries.

Another boring post from Fender...

This is a very good point. This agreement is like the participation trophy. Everyone gets one for entering into this thing, but nothing is really accomplished.

chainsaw bayonet sounds like something that would be in a zombie video game.... I'm pretty sure a regular bayonet would have sufficed
