I think Biden looks good right now. But if a week in politics is a long time then 2 years is an eternity. Who knows what'll happen between now and then. Even Mark Zuckerberg is being toted by some people. I seriously hope things don't go that way...

e/also Chris Murphy would be an interesting entry in the primaries. I think he'd have a good chance if the election was next year but by 2020 his popularity may have run it's course.

/e Try to remember that Kim Jong is just a puppet of China. In the many and varied rules of politics, China is using Kim Jong to "bother" the US. But the US can't say this in public, because China is a super power. It's all a game.

Yes, there are a lot of people's lives at stake, but in International politics, there always are. I don't think it really matters who happens to be president at this time. I think this would be happening...anyways.

China is making their "move" right now. They want to break international law, and ...confiscate the entire South China Sea and the countries surrounding it. NK is just a pawn. I think we all need to keep in mind, that we are really dealing with China here.

China can "save face" by using NK to insult the US. The US can save face by insulting NK instead of China. Depending on WHO is president might change the rhetoric, but it won't change the game...at all. If you want to follow politics, make sure you have the same score card as the rest of us.

Hell half the folks immigrating to the US back in the day, had their names changed by the immigration officials. No one wanted to deal with 4 and 5 syllable names in those days, and many were just...shortened.
This is not what happened to the Drumpf name, but it's nothing new in the US.
