Well yeah but it’s not as widely accepted as “trans” people.

What a silly argument. If a gay person or a trans person is standing right in front of you you’ll just deny the entire existence of this person clearly standing in front of you because they upset you?

If someone stands in front of you and claim they’re a cat will you deny their existence or deny they’re really a cat?

I’m pretty sure I would at least be able to acknowledge that person exists.

I can’t speak for him, but I don’t think that’s what he means by "trans people don’t exist".

Well even to your point it’s still silly. The person in front of you claiming to be attracted to the same sex, you would just say “no I know your mind better than you do and you aren’t actually attracted to the same sex”. Or if a person in front of you has transition you would just tell them they haven’t transitioned… because you dislike the idea?
