"When will all the haters and fools out there realize that having a good relationship with Russia is a good thing, not a bad thing. There always playing politics - bad for our country. I want to solve North Korea, Syria, Ukraine, terrorism, and Russia can greatly help!" -Donald Trump 45m

Not good for business. Can you imagine what happens to the war cabal and intelligence community if all of the sudden our arch nemesis is a friend? All of the sudden the taxpayers may object to writing them blank checks.

Not only is it a threat to a over bloated bureaucracy but American arms corporations would lose a massive market for weapon sales (the EU) without the Russia boogeyman.

yeah real petty that we want the secretary of state, who demanded that she should be president, to know what (c) meant on material she was made privy to while serving in public office

in any event, expectations of (c)linton never reallie mattered considering she blew a '12 point lead'

Yes i applaud any country that exposes corruption in my country. US-Russia relations weren't good to begin with, they did not get worst because Russia exposed the DNC. Hillary winning would of meant infinitely worse relations. We would have been propping the Ukrainians for a war with Russia over the Donbass and war would still be raging on in Syria, categorically worse relations than they are today.

What precisely is the difference between what Russia did and what we've been doing for 70 years?

Of course Russia's meddling in our election has made the relationship worse.... it's absurd to think otherwise. Not only has congress passed more sanctions, it has also made Washington as a whole even more hawkish towards them. If Russia genuinely wants better relations, they shouldn't have interfered in our election.

I agree the relationship would've been worse if Hillary won, because she would've held them accountable for what they did. I'm not sure how the Syrian war would still be raging... it was winding down before Trump got in office. Trump hasn't yet ruled out arming Ukraine, I suppose if he chooses to he's a hawk like Hillary.

We've been through this... give me an example of the US comprehensively interfering in a major power's election.

A good relationship with Russia would, of course, be a good thing.

It's naive to think Russia wants a good relationship with us. Putin, above all else, cares about Russian superiority, and will fight for that goal even at our expense.

No matter how chummy he may get with Donald or whomever is president, he's always got a knife in his other hand. That's just who he is and how he's been trained.

Unqualified judicial pick for trump forgot to mention that he is married to a white house lawyer who also happens to be a witness in the russia probe. Oops.
