Hmm actually the government is a customer, not the employer.. So she wasn't working for the government. They seemed to have found something in the policy that this is not condoned, then you can fire someone for it, or be more practical and ask her to change her profile pics.

In any case, ppl getting fired over flipping off the president, sounds like a story is from an African dictatorship.
