most psychos dont ever shoot other people. and even those psychos who eventually do go on a killing spree usually showed signs of being psychos long before they reach the boiling point.
and its not like psychology doesnt have any idea about what makes people's mental health spiral out of control. there are certain factors that breed psychos, and society can and should work harder to fight against those factors.

I'm talking about drugs, social isolation, trauma during childhood, poverty, the state giving up on entire quarters of big cities and ceding them to gangs, and so on. Those things create the environment in which the risk of breeding psychos is increased by several magnitudes.

You can shoot someone without a gun?

Talking about gangs when most sociopaths are in business. You want to end antisocial personality disorder, and that is your answer.

Just change human nature. Ok. Just have no more wars and we can all have guns.

in countries like switzerland or finland, you have a very high number of guns and far less shootings than in some other countries with less guns per capita.

why? because both countries are wealthy and with rather low inequality//even the poorest citizens in those countries have a sufficient baseline standard of living.

needless to say that its not too hard to get a gun if you really want to

Universal health care, compulsory military training, and socialism are traits of places you've described. Pretty useless comparison to the US where the bulk of people don't care to enlist and many can't get to a primary care doctor much less have regular mental health screenings.




People kill each other and themselves less without guns. Our murder and suicide rates prove it.
