no, but i dont pretend like stricter gun laws would prevent or end all issues with gun violence. and i'm smart enough to differentiate between the situation in germany, a densely populated country with a dense net of police stations, and Northern America, which has large rural areas where the next police station is hours away.

no wonder you are confused considering how ridiculously you misrepresent the other side. the only ones making such simplistic claims are dishonest hacks trying to delegitimise valid criticism but don't have facts and logic on their side...

oh, AM I really misrepresenting the arguments of gun opponents? dont they cry for more gun regulation for real whenever a shooting takes place, no matter the background, no matter whether stricter gun laws would have prevented the shooting in that specific case or not?

Less guns means less shootings. Basic math.

less guns in the hands of criminals means less shootings.

stricter gun laws can help with that, but an improved situation doesnt necessarily follow from stricter gun laws. and reducing the number of criminals and psychos is the more sensible approach anyway if you ask me.
