Well there's one clear difference between the Trump presidency and what HRC would have done. George Papadopoulos didn't commit suicide with 2 shots to the back of the head.

Lawl.

I still think there's a chance that a Trump presidency is better long-term for our country. We get a couple conservatives on the Supreme Court, Trump's failure to get much of anything done frustrates the Fox News crowd to the point where they don't vote as much, as a result more moderates are elected, and maybe we return to some normalcy where both sides work together.

A Hillary presidency would've resulted in 4 to 8 years of Republican obstructionism, practically nothing getting done, and 2-3 liberal Supreme Court justices. She'd be a much better president of course, and have a better foreign policy, but so far Trump's handlers are keeping him from making big mistakes. I hope everyone in the administration that Alex Jones and Steve Bannon hates stay a long time.

kinda hard to have tax cuts benefit the folks who pay minimal to no taxes anyway.

Try again, poindexter. Apparently you've never heard of the middle-class. Have you ever visited the Midwest?

Location : Germany.

lol....I'm not discussing taxes, with a kraut. You're clueless.

I wouldn't be so quick to make these assumptions. Republicans are insanely close to being able to call a Constitutional Convention, and they will do whatever shady thing they have to do behind closed doors to make that happen by 2028. Moderatism has been murdered in the United States.

want sources for the US? here you go:

https://www.wsj.com/articles/top-20-of-earners-pay-84-of-income-tax-1428674384

so the lower 80% of earners in the united states pay just 16% of income tax.

Still, that analysis confirms that, after all federal taxes are factored in, the U.S. tax system as a whole is progressive. The top 0.1% of families pay the equivalent of 39.2% and the bottom 20% have negative tax rates

but what do I know?

Oh, you mean the people who hog most of our resources and capitalize on the public trough are the ones paying more debt back to society?

I didnt say that they pay too much or too few. Im no expert on taxes and a comprehensive look at the overall tax flow is very complex.

All I said was that the wealthy are paying a lot more taxes than the middle class, let alone the poor. Therefore, it's kinda logical that tax cuts will mostly benefit those who pay more taxes, i.e. the wealthy and high income households.
