Cool story. I have just one question: the bulk of the statements Kelly lists here as evidence for Trump's bad character and unfitness to serve were made on the 2016 campaign trail or earlier. If Kelly was so disgusted and repulsed by all the things Trump says and stands for, then why did he serve in his administration in multiple, high-profile roles for 3 full years starting in 2017?
To borrow one of the favorite terms of the NeverTrump crowd: why did Kelly join the ranks of Trump's ""enablers"" if he knew what an odious human being and what a threat to democracy Trump was?
