I'll say it again - Donald Trump appears to have done it again - He told Hamas to make a decision, so they met to make a decision, and Israel promptly bombed them, in Qatar. Donald Trump was aware that Israel would do this, and this is likely to ensure there will be no peace. Noting Israel has already stated it intends to flatten all of Gaza over the next 12 months, we have to accept that once again the whole notion of a peace deal was simply a ruse to get the Hamas negotiators all in one place and to kill them all.

Is there anyone willing to respond to my assertion ?

This act is so heinous that Donald Trumps Nobel Peace Prize aspersions is effectively dead in the water. (regardless of Hamas terrorist status, the train of events is simply too deplorable).

US tells hamas to make a decision, Israel knows. Israel says we'll bomb them. US says ok but let us tell Qatar and Saudi Arabia first. Q/SA give the go ahead, clear out any assets nearby. Hamas leaders now dead, Qatar and Saudis can now propose new leaders. Saudis and Qataris now take a full stake in rebuilding Gaza and governing it. Abraham accords are resumed, peace is reached with "hamas" which are actually just qatari/sa plants. US/Q/SA/IS all make a public plan to rebuild gaza. trump get's peace prize, gaza becomes a tourist destination in 2040, remains a vassal pseudo-state of Israel, Israel shifts focus to west bank.

The west bank will be fully occupied within 10 years. it will no longer be occupied by then, it will be Israel.
Your alternate version can be determined with time (obviously I don't agree).

Its not credible that the US would have warned Qatar of the attack. This is NOT how the US operates. Take the US bombing of Iran as an example - they purposely said that they were still negotiating while they moved their B2 bombers into position. the US MO is to Bomb first and not to warn. This is how the US operates.
Iran, as an example, is not the same as the US.
