It's absolutely obvious that marriage patterns and the percentage of single parents have changed in recent decades. But it's much less clear by which share this is the result of the welfare state, and by which share it's the result of changing societal norms and ideals.

And the percentage of people marrying vs "having long-term relationships without marriage" doesnt have a lot to do with the prevalence of the friendzone anyway.

I'm in the suicide business and unfortunately you're wrong. Guns are the lions share of suicides....other methods arent even that effective.

Even if just 75% didnt complete a suicide plan...that is still considerable numbers.

And they are victims. These are easily preventable deaths.
