The fellow who repeats God is real because bible told me so x 100 times a day. Have you tried proof or rational thinking?
It's great. Try it today "I don't need this fictitious father figure to tell me what to do or believe in" . I can just as easily believe in life, in myself and my own capable mind to solve any challenges that come along.
Repeat I don't need to be scared of the unknown it's OK not to know everything. I will continue learning and growing and do the best I can, no need make up imaginary wizards to tell me that drugs, stealing and killing etc are bad. I am a grown adult I am perfectly capable of figuring out my life's decisions.
Practice saying that every night.
1 Peter 3:15
"But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord.
Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect"
If you had asked me this then this is my answer: I look at what life is like BEFORE I gave my life to Jesus and what life is like AFTER I gave my life to Jesus. When I was living life before Jesus then the world betrayed me for what I desired most. I was driven to the point of suicide. Life wasn't that bright for me at all.
Yet now that I've given my life to Jesus and have a new outlook, life is much better than what it was. So when you tell me that I can go back to what it was like before I gave my life to Jesus, that is not something that I look forward to.
I am NOT GOING BACK to what life was like before I came to know Jesus. Doing that would bring back the concept of suicide. Jesus saved me from that life and I owe it all to Him.
